Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 (1-inch) pork chops
  • 4 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Method

  • Melt butter in large skillet and add onion.
  • Saute until tender; remove onion and set aside.
  • Brown pork chops in butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Arrange chops in 13 x 9-inch baking dish and cover with apple slices.
  • Sprinkle with onions. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.
  • Cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour.
