Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 (1-inch) pork chops
- 4 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Method
- Melt butter in large skillet and add onion.
- Saute until tender; remove onion and set aside.
- Brown pork chops in butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Arrange chops in 13 x 9-inch baking dish and cover with apple slices.
- Sprinkle with onions. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.
- Cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour.
