- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 medium onions
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 c. hot water
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. tarragon
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 4 stalks fresh parsley
- 1 palm sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Mix all ingredients well; cover and simmer, covered, for 4 hours.
