Ingredients
- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 4 c. Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/4 c. milk
Method
- Melt butter in pan; add and stir in flour, salt and pepper. Stir until smooth over low heat until thick (10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in 3 cups cheese until melted.
- Put mixture over macaroni and pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
- Spread remaining cheese on top of casserole before placing in oven.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
