Ingredients
- 3 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. skim milk, scalded
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
- non-caloric liquid sweetener equal to 1/4 c. sugar
Method
- Combine eggs and salt.
- Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk, vanilla and sweetener.
- Set six 6-ounce custard cups in shallow pan on oven rack.
- Pour hot water 1 inch deep around them.
- Pour custard in.
- Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted off center comes out clean.
