Ingredients
- 3 large baking apples
- 1/4 c. maple syrup (regular or sugar free)
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat and bran cereal with dates, raisins and walnuts
Method
- Cut apples in half crosswise and core.
- Put apples cut side up in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Blend syrup, margarine and cinnamon.
- Add cereal; toss to coat.
- Spoon over apples.
- Bake uncovered at 350° until apples are fork-tender, about 35 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
