Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 lb. brisket
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bottle liquid smoke
  • garlic powder
  • 1 onion, chopped

Method

  • Sprinkle meat with seasoning; add chopped onion and bottle of liquid smoke.
  • Cover meat with foil and place in fridge overnight. Next day, place in 300° to 325° oven; be sure not
  • to uncover meat from foil after taking out of fridge.
  • Cook about 4 to 6 hours. After about the 4th hour of cooking, remove from oven, take off foil and pour barbecue sauce over meat, then continue cooking.
