Ingredients
- 6 to 8 lb. brisket
- 1 bottle barbecue sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1 bottle liquid smoke
- garlic powder
- 1 onion, chopped
Method
- Sprinkle meat with seasoning; add chopped onion and bottle of liquid smoke.
- Cover meat with foil and place in fridge overnight. Next day, place in 300° to 325° oven; be sure not
- to uncover meat from foil after taking out of fridge.
- Cook about 4 to 6 hours. After about the 4th hour of cooking, remove from oven, take off foil and pour barbecue sauce over meat, then continue cooking.
