Ingredients
- 2 (1 lb. each) cans pork and beans (about 3 1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. maple blended syrup
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- bacon strips
Method
- Place pork and beans in a shallow, 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Add syrup, mustard and catsup.
- Stir to blend.
- Lay bacon strips across top.
- Heat in hot oven at 400° for 45 to 55 minutes or until beans are hot, bubbling and the consistency desired.
- Makes 8 servings.
