Ingredients
- 8 apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- lemon juice
Method
- Wipe and core apples.
- Put in a baking dish and fill cavities with sugar and spice, allowing 1/2 cup sugar to 8 apples and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg.
- A few drops of lemon juice in boiling water to cover bottom of dish (9 x 13-inch).
- Bake at 400° until soft.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
