Ingredients
- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 13 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 34 cup quick-cooking oats
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 12 cup milk
- 14 cup vegetable oil
Method
- Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.
- In another bowl, combine eggs, milk and oil; add to oat mixture, stirring just enough to moisten dry ingredients.
- Spoon batter into a greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan 10 minutes.
