Ingredients
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can milk
- dash of pepper
- 1 1/2 c. dry instant rice
Method
- Cook and stir mushrooms in hot margarine in a saucepan until lightly browned.
- Add peas, soup, milk and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 minutes.
- Stir in rice. Cover, remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Fluff with fork. Makes 6 servings.
