Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 small tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 2 canned green chili peppers, seeded and chopped
  • tortilla chips or corn chips for dippers

Method

  • In a medium skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  • Crumble and set aside to cool.
  • In a medium bowl, use a fork to mash avocados.
  • Stir in lemon juice, onions, salt, tomato, chili peppers and crumbled bacon.
  • Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
