Ingredients
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Boiled Ham, chopped
- 2-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Method
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Cook tomatoes, onions, dressing and garlic in medium saucepan on medium heat 10 min.
- or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat; set aside.
- Bring milk to boil in medium heavy saucepan on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Gradually add cornmeal, stirring until well blended.
- Cook and stir 5 min.
- or until polenta pulls away from side of pan.
- Spoon half of the polenta into buttered 9-inch square baking dish.
- Top with layers of half each of the tomato sauce, ham and cheese.
- Repeat layers, starting with the polenta.
- Bake 20 to 25 min.
- or until heated through.
- Serve warm.
