Ingredients
- Fondue
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 2/3 cups finely chopped semisweet chocolate
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons liqueur (dark rum, Amaretto, Frangelico, Grand Marnier or Dark Rum)
- To Dip
- 2 chopped pears
- 2 cups bananas
- 2 pints strawberries
- 400 g angel food cake
Method
- Prep fruit and cake.
- In a sauce pan, slowly heat whipping cream until bubbles form around the edges.
- Remove pan from heat; whisk in chopped chocolate until mixture is smooth.
- Stir in vanilla and, if desired, add liqueur.
- Transfer mixture to a fondue pot and keep warm over low heat.
