- 3 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. soft butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
- graham cracker crust
- 1 pt. strawberries
- 1 pkg. strawberry jello
Method
- Mix together egg yolks, butter and sugar.
- Add 1 tablespoon gelatin, softened in 1/4 cup cold water.
- Heat on low to dissolve. Beat whipping cream and vanilla.
- Add to egg mixture (fold in). Pour mixture into pie shell.
- Top with strawberries and partially set jello.
- Refrigerate to set.
