Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
  • graham cracker crust
  • 1 pt. strawberries
  • 1 pkg. strawberry jello

Method

  • Mix together egg yolks, butter and sugar.
  • Add 1 tablespoon gelatin, softened in 1/4 cup cold water.
  • Heat on low to dissolve. Beat whipping cream and vanilla.
  • Add to egg mixture (fold in). Pour mixture into pie shell.
  • Top with strawberries and partially set jello.
  • Refrigerate to set.
