Ingredients
- 8 slices white bread. crust removed and cubed
- 3/4 pound sharp cheddar cheese. grated
- 6 eggs. slightly beaten
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 teaspoon mustard. dry
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash cayenne
Method
- In a buttered casserole, alternate layers of bread cubes and cheese. Combine all other ingredients and pour over bread and cheese. Let set 3 or 4 hours or overnight in a refrigerator. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
