Ingredients
- 20 slices thin white bread
- 3 oz. Blue cheese
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 20 asparagus spears (canned)
- 1/2 lb. butter, melted
Method
- Trim bread crusts and roll the bread to flatten. Blend the cheeses and egg.
- Spread on each slice of bread.
- Roll asparagus spears onto each slice.
- Dip into melted butter.
- (The bread was rolled with asparagus on it.)
- Place rolls on cookie sheet and freeze.
- When frozen slice into 4 quarters.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
- This recipe freezes well, but set out 1 hour before baking.
