Ingredients
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
Method
- Bring vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard, salt and pepper to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add oil.
- Pour over cabbage, onion and green pepper.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
- Will keep for several days.
- Yields 10 to 12 servings.
