Ingredients
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 8 sheets phyllo pastry
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- confectioners sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Grease a baking sheet.
- To prepare pastry, unfold sheets of phyllo so they lie flat.
- Stack 4 sheets on plastic wrap.
- Brush top sheet with butter.
- Keep other sheets covered with plastic wrap and damp cloth (to keep from drying out).
- Spread 1/2 pie filling on short side of phyllo.
- Roll jelly roll style, using plastic wrap as guide.
- Repeat with remaining sheets.
- Bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool sheets on wire racks for 15 minutes.
- Transfer to serving tray until cool. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
