Ingredients
- 1 c. nuts
- 3 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. oleo
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 5 c. pared apples, chopped fine
Method
- Combine flour, sugar, oleo, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in large mixing bowl.
- Mix until well blended.
- Mixture will be dry.
- Add apples, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in 1 cup nuts.
- Turn into a well greased and floured Bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then remove.
