Ingredients
- 2 (17 oz.) cans yams, drained
- 1 to 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1/2 o 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 to 1 stick butter or margarine
- 2 c. marshmallows
Method
- Grease oblong pan with vegetable oil.
- Pour yams evenly in pan followed by apple slices and nuts, then sprinkle brown sugar over apples, yams and nuts.
- Place pats of butter over brown sugar. Bake at 350° until apples are tender and brown sugar bubbles. When baked, cover apples, yams and nuts with marshmallows.
- Put back into oven until marshmallows are golden brown.
