Ingredients
- 6 apples, peeled and cored
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. butter
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- pie dough for a 2 crust pie
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
Method
- Roll out pie dough.
- Cut dough to fit each apple.
- Put 1 tablespoon sugar in center of each apple, along with a dot of margarine and cinnamon.
- Wrap apple in pie dough.
- Place in pan big enough to hold 6 apples.
- Combine water, margarine and sugar in saucepan.
- Heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour syrup over apples and bake at 425° for 35 to 40 minutes.
