Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can sliced apples or about 4 c. peeled and sliced fresh apples
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 8)
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 c. quick oats
  • 1/3 c. melted corn oil magarine

Method

  • Arrange apples in a buttered 10 x 6-inch baking dish; sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Combine sugar with crumbs, cinnamon, nutmeg and oats.
  • Stir in melted margarine; mix well.
  • Spread over apples. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
