Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. chuck roast, cubed
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 2 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 to 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 c. cabbage, chopped
  • 3/4 to 1 c. green beans
  • 1/4 to 1/3 c. celery, diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 6 oz. tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. frozen corn

Method

  • Cook meat in boiling water until tender.
  • Add onion, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and celery, then cook until tender.
  • Add tomato sauce and paste.
  • Add seasonings to taste and mix well.
  • Add green beans and corn; simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
