- 1/2 lb. chuck roast, cubed
- 1 small sliced onion
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 to 2 carrots, sliced
- 1/2 c. cabbage, chopped
- 3/4 to 1 c. green beans
- 1/4 to 1/3 c. celery, diced
- 1 tsp. salt
- black pepper to taste
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1/2 c. frozen corn
Method
- Cook meat in boiling water until tender.
- Add onion, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and celery, then cook until tender.
- Add tomato sauce and paste.
- Add seasonings to taste and mix well.
- Add green beans and corn; simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
