Ingredients
- pastry (for a 9-inch two crust pie)
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. pared, sliced tart apples
- 1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- In large bowl, combine sugars, cornstarch and cinnamon.
- Add fruit.
- Mix well.
- Turn into pastry lined pan.
- Cover with top crust and cut slits.
- Seal edges.
- Bake 40 minutes or until golden brown.
