Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon minced
  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1 x onion diced
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. tomato-based barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1/4 tsp chili pwdr
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 x 53-oz can pork and beans

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large skillet, brown the bacon, grnd beef and onion.
  • Drain.
  • Mix with the remaining ingredients in a casserole.
  • Bake covered for 1 hour.
  • If desired, take the lid off for the last 15 min or possibly so, so a crust forms on top.
