Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 (8 oz.) can oysters, drained
  • 1/4 c. cream
  • 1/2 c. very fine breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. curry powder

Method

  • Cut bacon slices in half.
  • Arrange in two layers on paper towel with paper between layers and on top.
  • Cook 3 minutes until partially done. Drain oysters.
  • Dip each one in cream.
  • Roll in breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings.
  • Wrap each coated oyster in bacon and hold together with toothpick.
  • Roll again in coating. Arrange on paper plate, double paper toweling top and bottom. Cook 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
