Ingredients
- 4 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 c. boiling water
- 20 oz. crushed pineapple
- 1 box one-step angel food cake mix
- 12 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
- chopped nuts
Method
- In a large, deep, non-plastic bowl, dissolve gelatin in cold water.
- Add boiling water & stir until cool.
- Add pineapple and juice.
- Fold in dry cake mix and watch it rise.
- When double in size, add whipped topping. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan and top with nuts.
- Refrigerate.
- Cut into squares when cold.
