Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or 4 chicken thighs/legs
- 8 c. water
- 1 c. chopped celery or celery leaves
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. pkg. noodles
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
Method
- Cook the first 5 ingredients.
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove chicken pieces. Bone when cooled.
- Chop into small pieces.
- Bring liquid back to full boil.
- Add noodles and bouillon cubes.
- Reduce heat; stir frequently.
- When done (15 minutes), add chicken.
- Stir well but gently and serve.
- Add hot water if too thick.
