Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. cornflakes
  • 1 c. Quaker oats
  • 1/2 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Method

  • Cream together butter and sugars.
  • Beat in oil and egg.
  • Sift flour with salt and baking soda; add to batter.
  • Combine well with remaining ingredients.
  • Drop one tablespoon at a time on an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with a fork.
  • Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 7 dozen.
