Ingredients
- 1 c. ammonia
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. baking soda
- 1 gal. water
Method
- Let a quart of buttermilk set until thick.
- Pour 1 quart boiling water over it, stirring at the same time.
- Let set a few minutes. Cheese will go to the bottom.
- Pour off the water.
- Put cheese in cloth to drain 1/2 day.
- Add salt according to taste.
