Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 26 large marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 c. canned milk, divided
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar, divided
  • 1 1/4 oz. pkg. coconut
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. almonds, sliced
  • 1/2 c. butter

Method

  • Prepare cake as directed.
  • Bake in a 10 x 15-inch pan or cookie sheet.
  • While cake bakes, melt marshmallows, 1 cup canned milk and 1 cup sugar; add coconut.
  • Pour over cake as soon as it comes from oven.
  • Mix butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup canned milk; bring to boil.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add 6 ounces chocolate chips and almonds; pour over coconut layer.
