Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. chuck or round steak
  • 1 can green beans
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt
  • pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Get a piece of foil out big enough to seal all ingredients in.
  • Place steak on foil; season with salt, pepper and garlic.
  • Place sliced potatoes on top of steak.
  • Add drained can of green beans on top.
  • Sprinkle onion soup on top and then add 4 tablespoons butter on top.
  • Seal all in foil.
  • Place on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Serves 4.
