Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/3 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. shortening, melted
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. flour
Method
- Mix well and roll like biscuits 1/4-inch thick.
- Cut with biscuit cutter.
- Grease cookie sheet.
- Stack 2 deep with margarine between layers.
- Grease tops with margarine.
- Let rise until double in size, about 2 or 3 hours.
- Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or until done.
