Ingredients
- 2 medium sized acorn squash
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- salt and pepper
Method
- Cut squash in half and scrape out seeds.
- Rinse.
- Rub inside of squash with margarine stick.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Turn cut side down on cookie sheet and bake in a moderate (350°) oven until baked and easily pierced with a fork (approximately 1/2 hour).
- Remove from oven, scrape out of skin and mash with butter.
