Ingredients
- 4 to 5 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
- Heat milk, water and butter to 120° to 130°.
- Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Add 1/4 cup flour, beat at high speed 2 minutes.
- Stir in enough additional flour to make soft dough.
- Knead 2 to 3 minutes.
- Divide dough in 12 equal balls. Place on cookie sheet.
- Let rise 30 minutes.
- Heat oven to 375° and bake 10 to 20 minutes or until done.
- Remove from pan to cool.
