Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs (at room temperature)
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 c. 7-Up soda
Method
- Cream butter and Crisco with sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
- Add flavorings.
- Add 7-Up and flour alternately, beating well.
- Bake in tube cake pan that has been greased and floured with bottom lined with wax paper.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
- Put in airtight container.
- Will last and freezes well.
