Ingredients
- 3 c. raw rice
- 6 Tbsp. bacon grease
- 6 c. onions, chopped fine
- 48 oz. diced drained tomatoes
- 24 oz. tomato juice
- chicken broth cubes
- 3 c. water
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. red hot sauce
Method
- Heat grease.
- Add rice to brown, stirring.
- Add onions; cook until they are golden (5 minutes).
- Add tomato juice, tomatoes, stock, hot sauce and salt.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, or until rice is tender.
