Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1/2 c. green peppers
  • 10 oz. frozen peas, blended for 10 minutes
  • 1/2 c. red onions
  • 1 lb. sharp cheese
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 lb. bacon

Method

  • Mix mayonnaise and sugar and set aside.
  • Fry the bacon until crisp.
  • Drain it on a paper towel.
  • Crumble the bacon.
  • Shred the sharp cheese.
  • Combine lettuce, celery, green peppers, onions, peas and mayonnaise mixture.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheese on top.
  • Cover and put in refrigerator to cool.
  • Let set for a while.
  • Great cover dish.
