Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 c. celery
- 1/2 c. green peppers
- 10 oz. frozen peas, blended for 10 minutes
- 1/2 c. red onions
- 1 lb. sharp cheese
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 lb. bacon
Method
- Mix mayonnaise and sugar and set aside.
- Fry the bacon until crisp.
- Drain it on a paper towel.
- Crumble the bacon.
- Shred the sharp cheese.
- Combine lettuce, celery, green peppers, onions, peas and mayonnaise mixture.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheese on top.
- Cover and put in refrigerator to cool.
- Let set for a while.
- Great cover dish.
