Ingredients
- 1 qt. white or apple cider vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 tsp. celery salt
- 2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 5 lb. squash (unpeeled), cut in 1/4 inch slices
- 1 qt. onions, thinly sliced
Method
- Combine vinegar, sugar, salt, celery salt, turmeric and dry mustard in saucepan, bring to a boil and pour over zucchini and onions.
- Let
- stand
- one
- hour,
- stirring occasionally. Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal.
- Oh, so good.
