Ingredients
- 2 (6-inch) zucchini
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. finely chopped dill leaves
- 5 Tbsp. bacon fat or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 small diced onion
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
Method
- Peel and grate zucchini.
- Cook for 10 minutes the zucchini, water, vinegar, salt, paprika and dill leaves.
- In another pan, brown the onion and flour mixture in the bacon fat or margarine. Mix small amounts of zucchini mixture into the browned mixture until all is combined and smooth.
- Cool mixture a bit, then add the sour cream.
