Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Cream butter and sugars.
  • Add egg.
  • Add flour with soda, salt and baking powder.
  • Add rest of ingredients.
  • This recipe can be altered somewhat with different options, no salt, more or less chocolate chips, Rice Krispies, raisins and coconut to taste. Drop rounded teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Makes 100 delicious cookies.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes, until golden.
