Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cake yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
Method
- Heat milk and shortening.
- Put sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Add hot milk and cool.
- Add a little flour and beaten eggs.
- Stir and add the 1/4 cup warm water and yeast.
- Add enough flour to knead.
- Knead and let rise until double.
- Roll out rolls and let rise.
- Bake at 400° until brown.
