Ingredients

  • 1 yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 c. plain flour

Method

  • Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  • Add sugar to yeast and water. Add salt, oil and flour and mix well.
  • Grease bowl and put dough in and turn over so top of dough will be well-greased.
  • Put in warm place and let rise until doubled.
  • Roll out on floured paper and knead until stiff enough to make rolls.
  • Let rolls rise until doubled in size and bake at 425° until brown.
