Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 can mushroom pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. cream or Pet milk
  • 1/4 c. chopped pimiento
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Cook spaghetti according to directions.
  • Cook bacon until crisp; crumble.
  • Add onion, green pepper and mushrooms to bacon fat and cook until tender.
  • Stir in flour, chicken broth, cream and pimiento.
  • Simmer until sauce thickens.
  • Add salt and pepper. Combine sauce, chicken, bacon and cooked spaghetti.
  • Pour into greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
  • Serves 6.
