Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef tenderloin or round steak, cut in 1/2-inch cubes or strips
- 1/2 c. finely chopped bell peppers
- 1 c. finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. cooked cold rice
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
Method
- Brown meat on medium-high heat setting, stirring often.
- Add vegetables and cook 5 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and rice.
- Stir and mix well but lightly.
- Taste before salting, because soy sauce is salty.
- Good served with a green salad and French bread.
- Yields 6 servings.
