- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3 1/2 c. flour (plain)
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream the margarine, butter and sugars. Add egg and mix well.
- Add oil, oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts; stir well.
- Add flour, soda and salt mixture.
- Form into balls the size of walnuts and flatten with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
