Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 7 eggs
- 3 c. cake flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. heavy whipping cream
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
- Alternate flour with whipping cream, beginning and ending with flour.
- Add vanilla. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Use 10-inch baking pan that has been well-greased and dusted with flour.
