Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. milk or heavy cream
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, cooked
  • 2 c. cubed chicken or turkey

Method

  • Melt butter.
  • Blend in flour and seasonings.
  • Cook until smooth and bubbly.
  • Heat to boil and continue boiling for 1 minute.
  • Stir in sherry, spaghetti, chicken and mushrooms.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly.
  • Great for leftover turkey or chicken.
