Ingredients
- 2 lb. small white boiling onions
- 1 c. beef broth or bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (more to taste)
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Method
- Place onions and bouillon or broth in a saucepan, covered. Bring to boil and simmer 20 minutes or until onions are tender. Remove onions to shallow baking dish (reserve broth for another use).
- Combine sugar, mustard, salt, paprika and melted butter. Mix well and pour over onions.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
