Ingredients
- 80 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Tea leaves (Assam or Uva if available)
- 200 ml Milk
- 20 grams plus White chocolate
- 3 drops plus Vanilla essence
Method
- Heat the water in a saucepan over low heat.
- When it starts to bubble, add the tea leaves and steep.
- Add the milk and heat over low heat.
- Don't let it boil!
- Break the white chocolate up into small pieces and let them dissolve in the mixture.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix.
- Pour it into a mug through a tea strainer.
- I recommend Assam or Uva tea as they are more suited to milk tea.
- But any kind of tea leaves are fine!
