Ingredients

  • 80 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp Tea leaves (Assam or Uva if available)
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 20 grams plus White chocolate
  • 3 drops plus Vanilla essence

Method

  • Heat the water in a saucepan over low heat.
  • When it starts to bubble, add the tea leaves and steep.
  • Add the milk and heat over low heat.
  • Don't let it boil!
  • Break the white chocolate up into small pieces and let them dissolve in the mixture.
  • Add the vanilla essence and mix.
  • Pour it into a mug through a tea strainer.
  • I recommend Assam or Uva tea as they are more suited to milk tea.
  • But any kind of tea leaves are fine!
